I think Honda is copying GM. With their SUV's and TRUCKS front end looking alike

Unhappy

I hate the look of the new grill on the '09 Pilot and Ridgeline. Too massive for my tastes.

I agree with Rocky, the new grille doesn't look so bad on the Ridgeline. Are those really 4 foglights? If so, I really like that. Real foglights. The Pilot's aren't useless, but 4 would be better. On my other car, the stock foglights are totally useless.

hmm.... I don't like the looks of the grill. I don't know why. But overall, this Honda I think is tough.

Looks like Honda is listening to the grille complaints. Look at this bottom of the line version of the Ridgeline

I'm still actively looking into getting the Ridgeline in June of 09' when we pay off the Pilot.

The wife says I can finally get the truck for myself after years of letting her have the new minivans and the Pilot. I have always got the hand-me-downs from her. She's willing to drive the Pilot for another 5 years, we keep the autos for ten years, new every 5.

I can'nt wait to see the final redo. A big plus is the hitch being included on all models and an audio input jack for my Ipod on the RTS model.

it looks like they just painted the 'ugly' part of the grille flat black. still, it looks much better.

a lot of companies are doing that these days.

Nissan Frontier and Pathfinder frontend is identical.

Subaru is trying to have a common look to the frontend.

Dodge does it too (heck, they even put truck grilles on cars)

as for the ridgeline, I'll probably get lynched for saying this but the ridgeline is the second most hideous vehicle in recent memory (pontiac aztec beats it though). and while it's a truck in that it has a bed, that's about where the 'truckness' of it ends.
