Default looking for affordable "luxury" car

The ES 350 is for wife, who is looking for something affordable "luxury" car. She will enjoy "sofe ride" more than "1.1 g" centrifugal force.

Any other recommendations than ES350? Our price range is under $40,000.

Sorry. I should not start a new thread. Mod, could you merge this one into the other thread "thinking about buying a Lexus ES350"? Thanks.

Acura has been giving some very good deals on leases the last few months. My son-in-law just leased a Acura a few months ago, it was like a 50,000 dollar car for a little over 400.00 a month for 3 years.

Sounds like the very slow selling RL. Nice looking car though.

I love the looks and appointments of the ES350, but I'd think twice about buying another Lexus. The service department at Pohanka Lexus absolutely sucks, the donuts are stale, the Starbucks coffee is burnt, and the PCs in their Internet room are dirty, old and slow. But they will screw up you service any day of the year from 5 am to 1 am daily, even Christmas day.

Other than that, no problem paying $127 for a $60 oil change and tire rotation.

But I understand the lure of luxury. I had to go through it and get to the other side.
