Are they finally going to offer VSA/Traction Control on the 4-cylinder models?

Nice to see an EX V6 sedan for once. I don’t see any listing of the transmissions. There have been rumors that the new Accord would have a six speed automatic. One could only hope as that would leave to other models finally getting one.

Any guesses on pricing??

I had a look at the new Altima and it has gone up compared to the current model so depending what Honda thinks they are competing with pricing may take a jump. It wouldn't suprise me to see them price the Accord Coupe just a bit higher than the Altima Coupe. I really like the new coupe but it may be just a little too pricey as a daily commuter.

The pricing will more than like be up a few hundred dollars over the existing Accord. This is Honda's bread and butter car, so they surely don't want to price it out of the marketplace. The more realistic approach might be, that certain trimlines of the new Accord could be so popular as to eliminate purchasing one at or below invoice pricing. We are looking at buying a 2008 Accord Coupe ourselves, and have expectations that the dealers may not be aggressive with pricing for awhile. The $29,500 MSRP for 2007 model we want may be $30,000 MSRP for the 2008 model.

yes they are. I bought new ex-l for less than $20K (around 19.5K) before TTL 2 weeks ago. They must be much cheaper now.

Here's what I've found from Edmunds...

"Honda has publicly talked about increased horsepower, improved fuel economy, cylinder deactivation and lower emissions for the V6-powered Accord. Although official specifications have not yet been released, a 3.5-liter V6 with approximately 270 horsepower is expected, as well as the base 180-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. "
