Actually from last year on a trip to Neuschwanstein Castle in the Alps. It has not snowed in upper Bavaria yet, nor does it often snow around here like back home in New England. We are going to try to get back down to the Alps before Christmas and when I have to a little trip to the desert....

Brings back good memories. I was over there from 85 to 88. Wanted to see the Eagle's Nest but not the Austrian Salt mines. Wound up loving the Salt mines better!

We made it to the salt mines in Berchtesgarden (would permit kids), but the Eagle's Nest was closed due to road washout when we were there....so another trip later.

Great pics, PILOTinginCO!

Now get out there in the snow and get to work making snow people so that you can add some pics to this thread!
