I'm thinking of going from 15" to 17" on my 07 Accord. Will it throw the speedo off by much if at all???

Your speed won't get thrown off if you get the proper sized tire for the wheels. Go to www.driveaccord.net and look around the tire/wheel section for folks that have done this - they can supply the proper size tire for the wheel. As an example, the Acura TSX wheels are 17" (sorry can't recall the tire size) and are a direct bolt-on fit for wheels/tires on the accord...

Use this website to determine what size tire you can safely use as well as how much your speedometer will be off.

Stock size is 205/65/15. If you want to go to 17", here are your options.... 205/55/17 (1.49% too slow) 205/50/17 (1.67% too fast) 215/50/17 (0.11% too fast) 225/50/17 (1.42% too slow) I'm thinking that the 215 size is your best bet... as it will minimize your speedometer difference. In addition, you might have issues with tire rubbing if you go wider.

The Acura TL and the Acura TSX both have the same size wheel/tire combo as the Accord. Stock size on the TL is 235/45R17, and on the TSX is 215/50R17. Somefolks have tried the 225/50 variant and had occasional rubbing in the rear over big bumps (especially if you use the TL wheels or an aftermarket wheel with an offset less than +40mm). Either of those stock sizes will keep your speedo close to reality.....

Does anyone know if a full size (15'') spare will fit in the trunk well of my recently purchased 2000 Accord. It appears the width may fit but height may be a problem?
Any experience on the topic out there? I replaced the donut on my 05 Pilot with no problem........I just dislike donuts! Great car BTW.....

The full size spare will fit, it will be a touch too high but not enough to be offensive, I can't remember if I had to remove spacers or not. (I put a full size spare w/ alum rim in my fiance's 02 accord se sedan (same body style)
