With the high gas prices, people are likely to be moving towards smaller cars like the Yaris. Looking at making a set of non slip pads. Looking for feedback on this idea...

You want econocar owners with $$$
I would go with MINI owners first. Big installed base, enthusiast word of mouth ebay users etc One part those cars need is something under the factory roof racks to protect the roof and fill the gap between the mount and bodywork. They sypply nothing Compare with the pad under the roof rack of your Pilot |

I've seen 2 Fits here, that I can tell. They look so much like the Suzuki/Chevy Aero, it's hard to tell. Starting to see a more Yaris' here, and it is 2-1 younger women driving them. That might limit the market a bit; here we have a few enthusiastic female Pilot owners, but it's predominantly male. Same with the xB sites. Mostly male, looking to pimp their rides (the younger set) or wanting the extra functionality the pad set provides (us old farts).
The demographics at this point don't show a lot of women on the 'net in car forums, so while it may be a great product at a great price with Wilson's great service, if the market doesn't see the product, you don't make a sale. The number of Yaris owner sites out there, and their level of activity would be an interesting survey.
