I was just looking at it. Interesting. I just don't like the interior options and climate controls. If they could upgrade the interior for a reasonable price, I might jump to save the gas, but I like my pilot too much right now.

It was made to be an entry level car. It isn't going to be high zoot.
Check out the rear suspension. It's a "cheap" car. But I like it. Once again, Honda is years behind in their offerings.

Odd that its release coincides with the Toyota Yaris. I think this is the Japanese response to post-Katrina gas price spikes, trying to anticipate market demand. Unfortunately for them, I think it would take gas prices going a lot higher than $3/gallon to get a significant portion of the American car buying public into either one of these vehicles. Personally, I'd much sooner buy a Civic or a four-cylinder Accord with a manual (my '02 routinely turned high 20's and low 30's around town) and eat a few MPGs than be stuck in one of these ultra-econoboxes.
