My dad (iglesias) had a beagle when he was a kid who would dig holes and bark into them. Beagles are funny dogs.

That dog must have thought he had gone to doggie heaven when we had a pool put in. Talk about a big hole to bark in!
But he hated the pool, and would never go in it.

That is a lot of work, hope the Beagle doesn't figure it out and just strart digging a foot away to get under the bricks.

I chose the bricks because when I tried a board, they could dig under it since the ends of the board would hold the board up. With the bricks, the bricks are short enough that as they dig under, the brick will come down into the hole, hopefully preventing their escape or at least giving me enough time to find the dig and fill it in.
