Default Marriage Health & Fitness suggestions

Recently got married to my long time girl-friend and we just moved to our new home (will bepaying mortgage for 10 years) anyways, any suggestions for health & fitness for newly wed couples?

I mean she cooks great.

Thanks!

Tomorrow, I plan to avail those "Couples" discount upon sign-up to the nearby fitness center as a start.

That's a good start. Maybe sign up for a personal trainer too at the gym. They can offer great tips on fitness suitable for your fitness level. The main thing is to be consistent. If you've never exercised before, you'll hurt in places you never knew existed on your body.

Yeah, good points about the portion control, that's the toughest I think. Cut back on the carbs too.

Coincidentally, I'm joining a gym this weekend.....I'm not in bad shape, but I could def use some firming up.

Thanks a lot for the info guys, I really appreciate them. My wife and I are planning our weekly meals and soon we will adapt to the Low-Carb and Medium Protein Diet.

Also, we saved a lot of money not eating the foods we used to eat on dates.
