Question Flight Simulator 2002 VS. 2004...much difference?

I have Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002. Anyone have 2002 and 2004? Is there much improvement or difference??

Heh, I haven't installed 2004, yet. I'll fire it up in the next couple of days & check it out.

This thread has quite a few people saying that 2004 is better than 2002.

I seem to recall that someone (CompUSA, Best Buy or Circuit City) has it on sale for $30 (after rebate) at the moment.

ps - sorry for the late reply - been off-site for a while

Heh, I saw that pic somewhere before I think someone posted a link to it a while back on frugalsworld.

Now I want one of those super wide monitors - I wish I had saved a pic of it: Micro$oft had it on their website as part of a technology demo last year (or the year before) - it was something like 21" monitor in height but it was 3 or 4 feet wide and curved towards the user.

i just got 2002 for free.
$19.99 at best buy and then this rebate:

still haven't gotten a chance to load it up, though. Good grief, I hope I don't get addicted and need a setup like Kemo!

No, of course not...

It would've been a nice setup, though, but alas, my basement is filled with stuff from Fisher-Price, Little Tykes, and Mattel...

No one here has mentioned the 2001 version:

Bought it (FS 2004) last week. Pretty good. Also found some new planes to add into it. Anyone have any good add ons for it??
