Default Need to resize this gif

I was playing around with my avatar and sure enough I changed it (as you can see) and didn't have it saved. So I was looking to change it to a better avatar anyway. Only problem is I can't remember how I resized my last one. Attached is the one I am thinking of changing to, but it says that it's to big. Can someone that knows how to resize gifs please do so for me please? Also is there anyway to get rid of that white background?

FLPilot - Download ReaConverter Pro here to convert gif extension to jpeg or any other graphic extension. From there you can resize it.

You can also use ACDSee software to convert gif file to jpeg and then resized it.

Thanks John, although I didn't mention it in my first post, I would like to keep it a .gif so that you can still see the lights flashing. Thanks for the info though.

Also you would need it to be transparent for the white to be gone, but that usually needs to be done when its created. Ill grab it and run it through some programs I have and see what I come up with.

You need to download GIF Works to add animation, resized and removed backgrounds in a transparency medium. You can download the free software here.

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to get this avatar under 40k bytes so I can use it here? I tried gifworks, but I'm not sure how to reduce the file size. Is it possible?

Adobe Photoshop Elements will resize GIFs, if you happen to have the software. It's not free though.

I can only get it down to 120k, unfortunately.

FL-your avatar was 8 pixels too wide

Quality isn't that great, but see if this works ok.

I can crop out the white, but you'll lose the shadow and I have to run an errand right now I'll get back to you soon.

Quality still isn't that great. But I'm curious, how is this any different from your present avatar?

Dude, I'm not interested in the cop car avatar. That's fine. I'm trying to get the guy dancing to shrink. Thanks :-)
