We can debate this ad infinitum, and take it back to an Apple thread, and kick the haters around.

The important thing for this thread is whether or nor rocky got what he needed. rocky, did you solve your problem?

Zero risk of that. PDF is an open standard. There must be some other "good reason".
Then can you explain the Internet Explorer law suit?

Why? (Hint: Track Apple market share and GM market share direction)

Yep, maybe in another 20 years Apple will crack 10%.

Well put.

Why do Apple people have to treat computer like they are in a cult?

Because it just works! How many times do you have to hear that! Life's not like you think it should be, N_Jay. Get over it. Don't tell us your were one of the Motorola engineers that designed the cell phone interface from hell, and can't admit it, even to your own family.

Why are Pilot owners such a cult?

Why is N_Jay such a dipstick?

I think I have an easier time answering the first question.

Well, I didn't hit the quote button fast enough to get your original response before you added more stupid insults.

We are a bit cultish here, but not as bad a Apple people.

I don't know what you're talking about or what it has to do with PDF.

That the inclusion of a "feature" was anti-competitive because it destroyed the market for add-in software. (You can't see a similarity? )

Not as long as their PDF implementation is not predatory or exclusionary.

My daughter who is a Graphic designer just bought a Windows machine.
She has used both and is proficient on either. She says a Mac ties her down. To much proprietary software. That being said I think Macs are cool even though I Don't own one.

The point is that it "destroys the market" for add in software.

I think MS has been bashed on this point in the past.
