He's an application developer and I think he wanted an opinion about what type of installation package he should distribute with his app in order to implement it in a clustered enviroment.

I suggested that he convert the application into a windows service and just add the generic service as a resource in the cluster manager...but I'm not even sure I understood what his question was.
