I'm normally a Firefox person, but I must say that it's a fairly dramatic improvement over IE6. I especially like the built-in zoom features for those of us with high-resolution displays. Check it out:

I have downloaded it, and generally like it, but am having a problem. When IE7 opens a new window, whether it's a new tab or something like a link to a video that uses Media Player, I get a "You are not connected to the internet" error. I am connected to the internet. Web sites in the original window continue to work.
I'm trying to find a solution at the MS web site, but if someone here knows of a fix (probably just a setting somewhere) I'd appreciate it.

Thanks. Tried it but it didn't help. Also, following the advice of a post at a MS forum, I turned off "dial a new connection" in Internet Options and made sure all of the boxes were un-checked in the LAN settings.
Still no joy. Keep the suggestions coming.

Upin further research, this appears to be a bug in the beta version. It may be related to my firewall and the way it allows access to websites.
Just downloaded Firefox.
