I've been using CF cards for about 4 yrs with a Canon 110, and added a 6meg digital rebel to the camera fleet some time ago.
Whats the opinion on the "faster" memory cards manufacturers offer? Micro drives any better? Will I notice a difference? If so when? Yes I do from time to time take a series of action shots and end up having to wait for the data to transfer to the card. |

CF cards are faster than the SD/MMC/Memory stick...though they are bigger... CF cards have more pins so can Xmit more data....
but the speed might not be noticible ...the camera speed might be more important...

I have a 512MB xD memory card in my Fujifilm camera and the response time is respectable when saving down... But certainly not as fast as the high-end Fuji cameras that our ppl have here at work (which use an IBM Microdrive). Damn, those things can fire off pictures like NONSTOP and there is absolutely no lag. Awesome for taking lots of pictures in a very short period.
