Default Marlins v. Cubs

Well, well, well....won't this be a great series! Watch out
Cubs fans, here comes a team who is loaded with heart, talent and the desire to win. No overpaid players with giant egos on this team....look out for Pudge!

which is the same with the CUBs...its all heart, talent and desirre to win but they have the advantage of Wood and prior and some good experienced players being led by Dusty Baker.

It will again boil down to beating Wood/Prior (kinda like Schilling johnson in 2001). and I like CUBS chances there

game 4 is Willis v/s clement....that was the trade which sent the respective players to their current team....

go cubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree rami. You saw what Wood and Prior did to the top hitting team in the league. Game 4 should be good. Lots of interesting subplots in this one too. Pudge talking to the Cubs before this season, Lowell trade rumors.

Cubs in 6 and Wrigleyville goes crazy!!!!!!

Oh Ram, I like what you said in the "Will the Cubs Fold?" thread:

....however this is the cubs so should not be too hopeful...

Default Cubs in 7

Looks like they can go with Prior and Wood in games 2, 3, 6 and 7. I hate relying on 2 pitchers but they are nearly unbeatable right now. I figure they take at least 3 of 4 and Zambrano and Clement should at least win 1 of 3. I'm a lifer as a Cubs fan but my interest faded with strikes, escalating pay and ticket prices, and Selig. But I'm on the bandwagon now!

Alexandra was right about watching out for Pudge, wasn't she? This is a good Marlins team.

Thumbs up Exciting Game 1

No matter who you are for, you got your money's worth watching game 1.

I hope the Cubs give the Marlins a little more respect.

This should continue to be a great series.
