Who Do You Like in the Baseball Post-Season?? - Honda Pilot

Well, the string has nearly run out. It's been fun to watch several teams still in the running as the season draws to a close.

So, with post-season play around the corner, what do you think of the matchups? When the dust settles, who do you think will be meeting up in the World Series?

P.S. It was refreshing seeing the Angels take it last year, giving us a break from the Usual Suspects.

would be a Cubs-Red Sox series, it would be the best thing to happen to basball in many years. What I think we will get, however, is a ho-hum-who-cares Yankees beat the Braves again series.

my prediction:

NLDS : Atlanta v/s CUBs - Cubs
: SF v/s Florida - SF

ALDS : Yankees v/s Min - Yankees
Oak v/s Boston - Boston

NLCS - SF v/s Cubs - SF
ALCS - Yankees v/s Boston - Yankees

WS : Yankees v/s SF - Yankees

God knows, baseball could use a boost. But I don't think the fates will be so kind.

I think that an intra-city WS would make for some exciting baseball with a little extra edge. As for ratings, unfortunately it seems that the WS isn't the draw it used to be, no matter who's playing. Plus, while we may be in the minority, there are some of us out here who are tired of the exposure that media-darling clubs in New York, Atlanta, Chicago (Cubs, that is. It's sure not about winning! Sorry), and LA/SF get year after year. It's a breath of fresh air when some different but no less interesting clubs make it to the spotlight.

I do think that no real baseball fan could be disappointed by the prospect of a Cubs-Red Sox series! Hard to resist two lovable (traditional) losers!
