The Australian Open is going on right now....some decent matches so far. The mens side seems like it's heading toward an inevitable clash between Roddick and Federer (if Roddick can keep going). There're some interesting matchups in the next round for the women's side as well.

Roddick and Federer is not really interesting.... too one sided IMO...

I'm hoping Roddick will step it up this year. I'd like to see him at least challenge Federer. Since Agassi will probably retire this year, he's the next American to carry the torch.

I hope so too... but IMO he is soon reaching the age where he will peak... hopefully we will have someother guys coming up ...

Donlad Young is the only one I hear any talk about.....the other guys ranked below Roddick (Blake, Dent, Ginepri) are in the same boat too with already reaching their peak.

Roddick is a BUM....he should seriously start thinking about giving Brad Gilbert a call to get him back.
