Actually I wanted to get a pair of racquets for the wife and I to just pass the time. I was looking on ebay for some cheap ones and found THIS ONE
I am no clue when it comes to tennis about size or anything like that. I was hoping someone here could steer me in the right direction. Is this a racquet for me or is this just for kids? Any info would be great.

Haven't played tennis in a few years but I can tell you that these aren't the ones for you. They're made for a kid's small hands. Adults will need a fatter grip.

Instead of buying from ebay, you should try a local SportsMart or Copelands to get a feel of the racket before you buy. The lower end beginners rackets usually come pre-strung. Choose a grip that is comfortable for you. The most common grip sizes are 4 1/4, 4 1/2 and 4 5/8. When gripping a racket, your finger tips should just touch the base of your palm. Too small of a grip will cause you to grip the racket to tight and may cause tennis elbow. Too large of a grip, the racket may twist when striking a ball off center. Grip the racket like you would shake hand with someone, firm but not too tight.
Tennis is a great sport and it's alot of fun. I played for over 25 years and need to find time to play more. Enjoy.

Thanks for the info guys. I don't have a SportsMart or Copelands around me, but maybe I will try Sports Authority.
