Weber Genesis Platinum C

Weber is the inventor of many of the great ideas of barbecuing, that other lines copy.

You might be surprised at what you can get in there. Two turkeys will fit in a large Green Egg on vertical roasting racks. There is even an extra large size of the Egg.

I figure that would about 4 hours if cooking around 350 degrees.

The real strength of the Egg is cooking low and slow. For example, cooking a pork shoulder overnight or an all day brisket.

can't wait that long...............

Actually my birds are cooked at 350 degrees on a spit/rotisserie keeping the juices on/in the birds longer while burning hickory chunks in my steam-n-chips smoker accessory (for 2.5 hours). Nothing beats my tender juicy white meat, but the dark meat is out of this world........

For my (whole) pork loins I have a cage/rotisserie, the temperature range between 300-350 also smoked same as above for 1.5 hours............

(getting real hungry)........
