Since this thread has been hijacked and steered towards signage...

This one always gets a smirk outta me -- I've always wanted to add the phrase

&nbsp ; "EVEN BETTER AROUND THE CORNER"

underneath this next sign:

wwong must be rolling his eyes at how his thread migrated to signage so quickly !!!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch in San Dimas......

wwong, do you have any idea why they picked your neighborhood to shoot the commercial? Forgive my ignorance, but I'm supposing that San Dimas must be at least somewhat near Los Angeles. When you live in Southern CA, I'd imagine that the average person must be more used to seeing film crews around than most of the rest of us would be.

P.S. I like the Chef's Beefaroni, too.

Isn't it comforting to know that those children eventually grow up, get jobs and become: "Slow Men At Work"

The neighborhood I live in is typical middle America. You know, the "Leave it to Beaver" image

I saw the commercial. It's aim towards kids. So, if you want to check it out, watch the commericals on Saturday morning. You'll see like 5 second clips of the Chef Boyardee can rolling around in the streets and sidewalks. These scenes were shot in San Dimas, California.

heh... that's my world. and yes, those guys sitting around We're probably either the Director and AD or the "ad guys".

We did a spot in New Orleans last year and we shut down a whole city block once...trucks everywhere, traffic being rerouted... it was great.

I've seen it; it's very cute. A girl and her mom are shopping, and the girl puts a can of Chef Boyardee in the cart. Her mom says "No, you've had Chef every night this week." Can rolls off the shelf, out of the store, and rolls to her house.
