Default Share your favourite BBQ recipe

Hello folks, it's time again for me to host the annual family BBQ this weekend & I'm looking for new ideas/recipes. Each year I try to prepare something different like the beercan BBQ chicken I cooked last year which turned out great & the topic of conversation over a few beers. I'm also curious as to what Pilot owner's like to BBQ

TIA, borg

Default If You Like Salmon...

Find Lowry's "Citrus Marinade" - then mix it 50/50 with honey. Stir the mixture together and pour over salmon and let it marinade for about 4 to 5-hours.

The citrus does a great job with the salmon and the honey carmelizes over the fish giving a bit of sweetness to the salmon.

IT's a great recipe!

I love salmon, in fact it is on my list of food to prepare this weekend, now I just have to find that marinade.

Thanks, borg

Check out the cookbook from the Dinosaur Barbecue in Syracuse, New York. Everything I have made in it has been great! You can get it on Amazon.

The Dinosaur web site is also good.

Anything made on my new Weber Genesis Gold C. It's more like cooking on an appliance than a BBQ grill.

Hey, borg... it looks like it rained on the day of your BBQ? Your deck/patio looks wet...

Well, since there were no volcanic explosions, with black smoke filling the skies, we all assumed your cookout went off without a hitch!!!

Enjoy your next camping outing -- who knows, you may find your next "BORG'S PILOT vs....." victim at the camp site!!!

kemosabe:
Yep, I was BBQing in the rain for 2 hrs, must've rained all day that day(Thursday,..... shoulda had it on the weekend as originally planned). Anyway it wasn't too bad, I had beer in one hand, spatula in another, rain dripping down from umbrella, salsa music from outdoor speakers & tending to BBQ.

I got everyone to come out for a photo shoot before they can feast on the fabulous food. Family, beer, BBQ & music...what more could a guy want?

I really have my doubts about finding the next challenger for the Pilot while camping, maybe the 4Runner...I'll have better luck engaging the other targets @ the country club

borg, great to hear that the BBQ turned out to be a success inspite of the weather. I really like your deck! Gotta love that parquet flooring on it. It's really unique and pleasing to the eyes.

Dancing in the rain
They braved the rain and danced the Salsa to entertain the cook for part of the afternoon
