Mrs. Sactoroy gave your method a big thumbs up! After cooking in the oven, I cooled the ribs and then applied the dry rub and refridged for a couple of hours. I then soaked some mesquite chips and put them on a grate on the bbq and cooked for about an hour. I then brushed with some bbq sauce and cooked another 20 min or so to glaze them over. Next time I'll take pictures. Yummy. Thanks again!!!!!

Hey Borg, I'm not letting my wife see your post as she'll whip me with a wet noodle for just making ribs!
I am glad the BBQ recipe worked for you, it took a long time to get that recipe right. I also use pork ribs because they have more meat and cost less. I have not tried the dry rub on ribs like you did but I might next time. I just bought another 3 pack of ribs from Sam's club.

Oh and Borg, with lobster, shrimp, and sushi you are putting us all to shame.

Another cooking suggestion for mouth watering ribs, instead of pre cooking the ribs in the oven, I use the steam method. Bring pan of salted water to a boil, place steamer with ribs over pan & cover, let simmer until meat is tender. I like this method best for draining most of the fat out of the meat without drying it out. Season ribs with your favourite spices or rubs, refrigerate for an hour then fire up the grill to enjoy a most delicious meal.

BTW, nothing wrong with serving up burgers & ribs, it's all in the presentation.
