Help!
I just received my VIN for my new Pilot. Slated for delivery around 2-16-04. I was on the Honda Owner Link website, and typed in my VIN...and lo and behold...it showed up. Cool. BUT... It is the WRONG color. I asked for a WHITE EX-L Navi, but this one shows up on the website as BLACK color (both the picture and the text indicate) Is the Honda Owner Link database to be trusted, or is the dealer expecting me to settle for the wrong color. (I will not). I was VERY specific as to color, and even have a buyers agreement signed stating the color. Has anyone used Honda Owner Link and had mis-matched color indicated? It is too late in the evening to call my dealer. I will let you know what they say tomorrow when I call, but if anyone can add some useful information, I am all ears. Thanks. |

When I first registered with Owner Link eons ago, same problem. Owner Link is a waste of time.
The VIN doesn't contain the color code, as shown here, as originally posted by robrecht.

Thanks for that! I am back to breathing normal again.
I will call tomorrow just to double-check though.

10 more days isn't the end of the world. It just seems that way!
