Thumbs up DE, and SE-PA, NE-MD, S-NJ

If you are in this area, or don't mind traveling to Delaware, email me for a recommendation on a dealer who is excelent.

Default Almost right

There is a 2% title fee.
And if you live out of state, you still pay tax when you register the car.
I shop there to buy freom people I know and trust, not to save any money (well I don't complain if I also get a good deal)

This is true no matter where you buy the car.
e.g. Buy in PA, register in MD, pay MD tax
Buy in DE, register in MD pay MD tax
Buy in MD, register in De pay DE (2%)

Yes, I'm well aware of that. Living in NJ I tried to purchase in DE. I guess I would have had to establish residence there.

I'll take the 2% vs 6% NJ Sales Tax + Title fees

Wink Grew up there, but don't live there

You can still buy there: I do!
You don't save on the taxes, but you do deal with nice people
