Smile Good Dealer Experience - Chicago

I ordered my Silver EX-L-RES two months ago. Despite all the reports of Dealer mark-ups, my agreement to pay MSRP, whatever that would be, has been honored. All I wanted for accessories were the cross bars and trailer hitch. Since I wanted the hitch just for a bicycle carrier, I didn't want or need the recommended coolers which are recommended for towing. Although I expected they would insist on the whole package, my request was done - no questions asked; and the hitch and cross bars were even a little below MSRP.
I sign the papers Wednesday. If all goes as it appears, Loeber Motors in Chicago is a ray of light in over-MSRP darkness.

Default Another @ MSRP Dealer in the Chicago area

Glad to read about your experience at Loeber.

Just to let people know that Motor Werks in Barrington is also selling (or taking orders at this time) for Pilots at MSRP. Ask for Jeff Omet and tell him that I sent you. Not that this will get you a deal, but after 20 people come to him for a Pilot, then I might get a deal. Just kidding.

Seriously, we checked out the Pilots at Motor Werks last weekend and were very impressed with the vehicle and the service. We're waiting to take one for at test drive before we make the decision to order one. Plus, my wife likes the Sagebrush Pearl color that won't be available 'til Aug/Sept., so we are not in a hurry.

Thumbs up Amen to Loeber

... and hooray for Brandy Olsen, my salesperson. Took delivery on my EX-L-RES yesterday. MSRP, no add-ons, no hassles, and nearly a month earlier than promised! Brandy was terrific and regularly kept me posted by email and phone.

Default Sage Brush Pearl has showed up in Schaumburg

According to Schaumburg Honda, they have had Sage Brush Pearl and the Beige metallic (whatever it is called - can you tell that that is not the color we ordered ?) models show up already. So, do not wait just because Honda sez the color won't be out until later.
