Las Vegas, Nevada here with a Honda Pilot-EX-L RES.
Do I get a price for posting first? So far, I've only seen one Pilot on the road, any other Piloteers in Vegas besides Jerry the number 7 Pilot owner in Las Vegas?

According to Honda West, Las Vegas is allocated 25 Pilots per month. Unless our neighbor Californians are scoffing them up, there are 75 of them somewhere
![]() Hey, maybe the Casinos are giving them away

Chatted with a Pilot Havasu owner, he claims to be the first Pilot owner from Findlay Honda, Henderson. This is only my second Pilot sighting in Las Vegas.
Which casino is giving away Pilots again.........

Not long after my first post, I pulled into a parking lot and there it was!!! MY FIRST PILOT SIGHTING and to top it off, it was another White LX same as mine except it had alloy wheels, also a Cal. License plated, I didn't have time to wait for the owner (I think it was an employee parked there) I will try to make contact later, they're out there but VERY had to find yet!!!!!!!!

If it's any consolation to you, even though I live in Colorado, I bought my PILOT EX at Shack-Findlay Honda in Henderson last month.
As far as not seeing many of them on the road, give it time, I'm just now starting to see more and more PILOTs on the roads here in Colorado and I live in the SUV capitol of the world. |

Hey everybody!! First post! I have a baby on the way, so i have to get rid of my RSX Type S, and I plan on getting a Pilot with either NAV or RES. Don't know which one though......is the NAV worth it?

The short answer is YES.
The long answer is yes but... I have found the Navi option to be quite useful here in the NYC metro area. The maps for this area are quite detailed. You may find however that once you leave Las Vegas some of the functionality may be gone. In an urban area ( detailed coverage area) you can chose from several lists of destinations like shopping or restaurants. You can enter a street address and get a route to it from your current location in a snap. The level of detail drops off to next to nothing in some rural areas. According to my users manual Las Vegas Metro and Reno Lake Tahoe are the only detailed coverage areas in Nevada. Outside these areas only major roads and highways are mapped. The owners manual actually suggests you stop and ask directions to your final destination if you find yourself in a "Non-Detailed Coverage Area." I haven't yet driven off the end of the (Navi) earth with only 500 miles so far, but for me it definitely works and gives you a good feeling knowing exactly where you are going.
