Default Group buy on the Stock EX 16" Alloy Wheels?

How about a group buy on the Stock EX 16" Alloy Wheels?

I don't mean that we have to buy all 4, but in quanities of 1 or more. It would seem that as long as the group buys some number divisible by 4 things should work out?

I only want 1 for a full size spare.

I figure there are several people who want a spare but don't want to buy 4 rims.

Tim sells them solo, so it shouldnt matter how many we have as long as we get to ten, The price I got from him a while ago was close to 200$ i think, I would be interested in the group buy though as I didnt purchase it back then.

Why go the new route? It is much cheaper to buy the full size wheel/tire from a Honda pilot member who has upgraded his wheels/tires. I just bought an EX wheel and tire with only 5,000 miles for $125 plus shipping. Cost is cheaper and you also avoid mounting/ balancing charges. It works out well for both parties.

I haven't seen anyone selling them lately. I'm about to go on a road trip with 2 kids and don't want to have to drive around on that donut. I'd rather recycle it or use it for a swing.

Mike is selling the wheels from his LX. They aren't the EX alloys but I intend to use it for a full sized spare. I bought one yesterday and he has one left. Here's the thread.

Forgot to mention. Sometimes these sellers don't mind sending each tire to a different location. Won't hurt to ask. See if you can find three other people who are willing to pay 25% of total cost. I think this was done by 4 members a few months back.

Default ex-l wheel

Are you guys looking for another to join in on a group buy of a ex-l wheel, if so I'm in. Do you know for sure that a full size wheel will fit underneath the vehicle. I havent even had a chance to look at the spare yet, for all i know it could be a full size steel spare.

Default alternate route

Just for the heck of it, I went to tirerack and priced out a full-sized spare there. Came to $182 total for the rim, tire, mounted, balanced, and shipped. Sure, it won't match the other wheels and tires exactly, but it is still a full-sized spare.

just putting it out there for anyone who is interested.

I'd still like to find a steel wheel and tire myself. I'm cheap.

The full size spare will fit. Do a search on hidden hitch or trailer hitch. There's a lot of discussion about being able to fit a full sized spare and the hitch.
