Default Muth Signal Mirrors

Hi,

I know we recently had a group buy on the MUTH signal mirrors during the summer.

I spoke with MUTH today and they said they would re-establish the pricing offerd in June and July if we can get SIX (6) members to participate in the buy.

The non-heated signal mirrors were $169.00 and the heated ones were $199.00. S & H was $10.00. If you go their website you can see the units and the regular pricing there.

If five more members are interested please let me know?

Thanks,

Seth

Any comments from the people who have the Muth signal mirrors installed on their Pilots? Are they worth the money?

I would say they are worth it. The safety factor they add makes it a no brainer for me partially because of the numerous blind spots in the Pilot. The install is fairly simple. Had them on the CRV and people can definitely see the mirrors and know when you are turning etc.

They are definitely worth the money and effort. I purchased the mirrors that also included the heat elements.
The mirrors work great and the install took about 4 hrs, and that was taking my time.
I am thinking about doing the same for my wife's Odyssey as well.

I looked at these but decided that the side markers were more visible from the various angles. I like the idea of being able to be seen from the front as well as from the back. Since I have added them I have noticed that folks next to you really notice that you are moving over, in addition to people seeing you and stopping with various turns and oncoming traffic.

if you have any interest there is a thread on here at

I would highly recommend the Muth Signal Mirrors. Easy to install and a great safety accessory.

I like mine. Relatively inexpensive (e.g. less than an IPOD, fender flares, wheels/tires, etc) - worth it for me. Problem is that your performance results are mainly intangible - how many accidents Were avoided due to the LEDs in the mirrors?

I like sidemarkers too, I'm just leery about cutting into sheet metal...

The answer to the question of how many accidents were avoided is one you don't want to know. In my opinion, if only one accident was avoided, the mirrors were worth the money. Any feature which helps you avoid or prevent an accident is worth it.
