Default FINALLY...Snows in the forecast!!

A decent nor'easter is coming at us for Tues/Wed. First real fall this winter for us in Eastern Mass. So far we've only had wimpy inch here inch there. This one might get over 8 inches according to one forecast. Thats a decent start.

OK - so is this WISHFUL that we WILL have snow? Or is this "reverse psychology" hoping that it goes out to sea????

Ya know? I've just about given up on this winter - since most everything they predict a week (or even a few days) ahead changes. So while I've had some meterological training and also as an engineer to understand how to predict things, I'm figuring out that I'll just stick my head out the window on wednesday and see what happened. :-)

Of course, the snowblower is full of gas and the snow tires are on the non-4WD vehicles - as they have been since December.....

To be honest Andy, I'm more focused on there being no snow next Sat when we drive to SC again.
I had 15k on the Pilot at the beginning of August and will have 31k by the end of this month

Given the weather pattern, I'd worry more about snow south of new england - that seems to be where the Jet Stream seems to be settling..... Getting snow in the DelMarVa area is a whole different story than snow in New England!!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

its been snowing the past three days up in the sierras. it was a blast driving the pilot through snow, it felt very surefooted and traction was surprisingly decent, even with the good ole stock integrities.

I've been getting a lot of emails and calls about the snow. Fortunately (for me), Oswego is at the far east end of Lake Ontario. I'm at the far northeast corner of Lake Erie, right where Erie and Ontario meet and pass into each other at Niagara Falls.

We got a couple inches

This is my first snow storm with the Pilot and I'm looking forward to it. I'm hopeful it will drive as nice as my Explorer did. Question - is any way to turn off the 4x4 so I can do some doughnuts in a park lot if I wanted?

AWD is always available and cannot be switched off. However you can switch the VSA off

you cannot turn the 4x4 off manually. nonetheless, you can still perform decent doughnuts in a snowy parking lot.
