Pilot VTM-4 vs Explorer 4wd vs Pathfinder 4wd

I realize there is a thread on SH-AWD and VTM-4, but I'm trying to compare these systems with others on the market. Everyone calls their system intelligent, but how good it is really. I found a good link that describes the SH-AWD and the VTM-4. I didn't realized there are so many versions of the SH-AWD. Also didn't know that the latest MDX is using the newer version that takes most of the torque through the clutch packs which may lead to more overheating issues. The old SH-AWD distributed load through the ring gear, planet gear and clutch pack.

How is the Pilot system different than the Explorers Intelligent 4wd which uses a center multi-plate clutch pack to distribute power front and rear? I'm not sure if it has a mechanical way to transfer power left and right or maybe its just open differential with ABS controlling traction.

Also how does the Pathfinders Intuitive 4wd compare?

I thought the new pilot is using Acura awesome sh-awd from the previous model...but I guess it's more like a fancier Vtm-4 system that Acura is using to save cost and weight probably.

I'd like to see the new sh-awd or vtm-4 repeat this:
