My favorite part:

Value within Class 10
Honda's first homegrown midsize SUV strikes us as the Accord of its class. It's a highly rational approach to the way most people really use SUVs. A tight focus on room and versatility, refinement, ride comfort, and workmanship replaces unnecessary hardware or tough-guy posturing. Toss in Honda's strong reputation for reliability and resale value and it's no wonder Pilot is in short supply and rarely discounted.

I read somewhere that the Alabama plant mainly produces the Odyssey, but they were planning to retool it to also produce the Pilot because of the demand. Whether that has happened or will, I don't know.

Bought mine during first few days of Iraq war. Went in and drive a pilot home that night.

So who has a Pilot that was built in Alabama? That will be cool to see who has the first post.

I was at Honda dealer last weekend and I was reading in depth the window sticker of a Pilot. I don't recall 100%, but I could have sworn I saw "Alabama" and then somewhere else "Baltimore" in there (and I'm in North Carolina).

Default Alabama built?

I'm thinking that the VIN will begin with 1 for those Pilots built in Alabama.

Default Sometimes they are wrong and you have to correct them

You are correct. The Odyssey is built in both Canada and Alabama. I think what we were trying to say is Honda stepped up production in Alabama freeing up more production in the Canadian plant for the Pilot. I will correct our information. Thanks for the tip.
