Default Pilot vs. Enclave/Acadia

I have been looking at these and they seem to be quite nice. I am thinking I am going to have to wait to make a real decision until the '09 specs arefinal, but anyone have any thoughts? I like the added 1000lbs towing capacity and the fact that it is rated for better milage.

Looks like the General made a decent SUV for once.

If you find any posts by Don Willems, take them with a grain of salt. He spammed the site with Acadia posts.

Personally, I think the Acadia looks better hooked to a tow truck than previous GM offerings.

although i've never driven one, i like the acadia. its bigger than the current pilot, has more features, and styling is great. best of all, the interior doesn't look cheap, a gripe i've always had with domestics. GM really stepped up their game, and we'll have to see how honda responds when the production 2009 model Pilot is released.

I agree GM looks good on paper. Unfortunately they need to demonstrate that 5 years down the road the vehicles will hold their value and not suffered any major repairs.

I've really got to "ditto" the remarks of rlapid and jscampbe the Arcadia is a top notch vehicle. I have driven the Saturn version....very nice. GM has always offered a better package of features than Honda. I think Honda has felt the pressure and will be offering a "touring" accessory package. The biggest error Honda made is in the styling...................The Arcadia wins that one hands down!!!

I've seem a lot of Acadia on the road in the SJ area in CA.

Not sure how reliable or how good this vehicle is on the road.

Well, this Honda Pilot seems to be pretty safe.

06 Rollover

Maybe Honda will come with a better product for the 2009 model Pilot.
