comfort of middle row-center seat - Honda Pilot

Considering the Pilot over Toyota. Reason being the middle row of seats/center seat, seems too stiff and uncomfortable in the Toyotas I have test drove. We take 2-3 week driving vacations. Middle child must be able to sit comfortably. Have to lug tall children. DVD is not an option as head injuries would occur in Toyotas.

Anyone with complaints from back seat passengers over seat comfort in the Pilot?

I don't know about the 2006's and 2007's but if they are like the 2003 Pilot you definitely DO NOT want to sit in the middle of the second row.

I'd agree with Scoobs here - both on the '04 Leather and the '06 Cloth - 2nd row outer positions are comfortable. Middle position isn't the best - partially due to the fact that the fold-down armrest is the back of the seat for that position (when folded up), and the contour of the middle position is pretty flat. When we travel with the 3 kids, they always do the 2nd row for 2, and the 3rd row on the passenger side, and I get the 2/3 of the rear on the drivers' side to put things we're taking.....
