If I decided to try and cram my size 11 foot into a size 8 shoe, I would know that it didn't fit immediately. helpless would live with it for a few months and then have an epithany that it just didn't fit! LOL.

BTW, feel free to talk about the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Nobody is stopping you.
It seems that you find someone else's post extremely funny (but) without knowing the real story.
How did you know that he (helpless) got a new SUV for free and chose one that didn't fit inside? Nothing in his posts tells me that. He said he owned a 4Runner but didn't purchase it. He never elaborated how he got it.
Looks like you're making this all up and imagining things again.
It seems you have a propensity to imagine things as you have previously indicated in your post.

Even if you say this with sarcasm, it seems to be the norm as evidenced by your remarks.
To laugh at or to find someone's post extremely funny without knowing the real story and worst makes up one, tells me without a doubt that you really are an idiot.

I rest my case.

You don't make a very good lawyer, so please don't quit your day job just yet....

The truth of the matter is that I think helpless was stretching the truth, to say the least. He said that he owned a 4Runner, but then claimed he didn't actually pay for it AFTER I made fun of him for buying a vehicle that he didn't fit inside. Sounds like a juvenile attempt to redirect the truth to me. I have my doubts that he ever owned a 4Runner in the first place. It sure seems unusual that anyone would keep any vehicle for so long when he doesn't fit inside.

As far as being an idiot....well, not by a long shot. But you sure seem to make some idiotic comments, so maybe you should take a look in the mirror. If it makes you feel like more of a man, feel free to call me an idiot as much as your heart desires. I find it laughable that someone like you would make a comment like that on a message board, but wouldn't dare make that comment in person. Pathetic.

And you still bought the Pilot over the JGC, so I guess those things, while nice, are not imperative.

I probably would have bought an 06 Grand Cherokee when they were on clearance and had 0% interest, but Jeep made the sun roof standard in the trim line I wanted.

As with any vehicle, adding a sun roof drops the headliner. In the case of the 06 Grand Cherokee, it took away too much of my spare head room. I sat in an 06, but never drove it since I knew I would not be comfortable in the long run.

As betsyschair requested, I offered the list as things that might be missed - moving from a JGC to a Pilot.

It's funny, but most of the features I listed have been wished for by other hp.org members, but these features are just not the "Honda way".

'06 Black EXL-Navi: autodim mirror, many cargo accessories, mud guards, ODB II, and wwong's console pads.
'06 Black Volvo XC90 2.5T
'03 Black EXL-RES: side steps, autodim mirror, many cargo accessories, roof rack, and mud guards.
--> traded in '06 for XC90

I think that now that the MDX has been significantly redesigned and there are other differentiators (SH-AWD,etc) Honda will be able to add those things that are missing from the Pilot in the next redesign. It's entirely ridiculous that you can't get factory Navi and RES in the same vehicle like most of the competition.
