Wow, pretty active topic for only posting on the weekend >
![]() Just to give a little info, The 3rd row has more leg room then the Pilot, because of swooping roof, the Pilot wins on shoulder room, I agree it would have to be a pretty amazing vehicle to be even close on par with the Honda, but the competition the Santa fe is looking for is the Highlander, Rav4, Envoy, CRV, Pilot market. The standard saftey equipment is impressive, in fact all the standard equipment on all models is impressive. And like stated in other posts by others, Korea has come VERY FAR in quality, the new AZERA, Sonata is winning all kinds of awards, and this new Santa fe is supposed to be on Par with that. I agree the styling is copied from many other companies, but it still looks nice in my opinion. Also this is not a Korean made car, it is US made, not as good as Canada I agree (inside joke for Pilot owners > hahaAnyways I just wanted to post this to let others know what is coming, I know Toyota has said they are worried about Hyundai but Honda has not said that yet. THe Pilot is still my front runner too, but I will look at the competition also. |

Sizes are pretty close, but the Pilot is bigger, exact same wheel base, pilot is about 3 inches wider. The santa fe Seats actually fold into beds from the first row to the second, it is kinda neat. The 3rd row is definatly farther back, but there is still some storage room back there, but it is in the shape ig a 90 degree trianle, less room as you go up to teh roof.

I haven't looked at the specs., but it appears the Pilot has more leg room in the third row and more room behind the third when its up. Im sure the Pilot has more width, but the Hyundai has more headroom?
Im not going to argue the points, but it will be a good long while before I would forego a Honda or Toyota for a Hyundai or the like.

I still stick with Nokia or SonyEricsson. If u are on CDMA system, then Samsung is ok I guess. But if u are on GSM, I'd rather use something else.
