Default Subaru Tribeca

Wondering if anyone has seen the Tribeca? Looks cool on the web site - I had a Legacy and loved that.

The August Motor Tend does a comparo and it comes in third, after the Volvo XC90 and Dodge Magnum, but ahead of the Cadillac SRX.

I like the interior shot and the RX330 like exterior, except for the Edsel nose.

The Scoobie dealer around the corner has some, and Subaru is making some sweet cars ugly with that nose...

What were they thinking???

Yes, our local stealer has had several for about a month or so. I stopped and looked at them a couple weeks ago.

have you seen the TV commercial where the Tribeca drives by and the Pilot in the background turns all old and busted? and the MDX it drives by turns to dust? i dont like that commercial (nor the Tribeca for that matter).

I bet that Edsel-like nose will be gone in a year or two, Now if we could get Honda to redesign those less than attractive Accord taillights (IMHO)

Maybe it grows on you - I don't know. So far it hasn't me. The 7 passenger version looks REAL cozy inside.

Motor Trend had a preview and the side profile pics look nice... the shot from the front though doesn't appeal to me at all. Also it looks cramped inside, the cockpit style dash looks very tight on the drivers side.

Well the WRX is getting a nose sort of like the Tribeca's, which I don't care for at all.

They are re-styling the taillights. Did you check out TOV ? They have some spy pics.

I owned an Outback and loved the styling but the Tribeca is one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. I walked by one and didn't realize it was a Subaru until I checked the name on the back. It's very sad because the Outback and WRX lines are beautiful.

I like the looks, but then I like italian cars and I think the front has an alfa like look to it and the interior is cool. Kudos to Subaru to jump out of the box. I would rather have a Legacy sport wago with a 5 speed though.
