Cool Favorite Movie

I like the classic comedies. "Some Like It Hot", Lemmon, Curtis and Monroe is outstanding. Lemmon's response to Curtis' question "Why would a guy marry another guy?", "Security" is funny as hell. Especially considering that this movie was made in the '50s.

I remember that this JCS movie at the time was roundly panned by the critics. Wasn't sure how I'd react....but I saw it and loved it!

I too have many. Amadeus is among the top.
I have probably seen Groundhog's Day more number of times than any other movie.

Or did it just seem that way?

In the comedy genre, I'd have to go with Airplane. (But Shirly, I can't be serious )

For our family, Groundhog Day and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are annual "events". Sometimes we throw in "Young Frankenstein" for good measure.

By far, my favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption, regardless for my disdain for Tim Robbins.
