WW, been checking up in SF for the moulding. I actually went to a detailing place which sells mouldings. The guy is really a ripoff artist. He was charging $145 for a 40' box of 2' moulding! The other place to find the moulding is Kragen/Checker etc. As posted earlier, cost is $30 for 18'. I don't think of the moulding as more protection, but rather as a cosmetic enhancement which may aid in the protection of the doors.

Hey I'm looking for the 2" trim for the sides if any suggestions. Borg found it in Canada but the shipping was a killer. If anybody finds it please let me know. Thanks

So WWong which would you go with for the chrome trim. I called them and they have a 1 3/4 chrome trim and a 2" with black accent lines on the top and bottom. Just need a little help. Thanks

I got a roll of 1" and a roll of 1 3/4" chrome. I was going to put it on the top and bottom of the side molding. When I saw Borg's post, I think he used 2 1/8" roll for the center. When I measured the width of the center of the side molding, it looks like 2 1/4" roll would fit. That what I ordered for a sample and that is what is pictured above. I would recommend you wait until I test it.
