Although getting the DVD would have been nice I did not need or want the leather. Hello aftermarket!

Not at all to pick on anyone who opted for these options, but for me the DVD or navi were simply too expensive to make sense given that I can buy either or both for a fraction of the price aftermarket and have the option of carrying them to other vehicles.

It's all relative, though. One man's wildly extravagant bauble is another man's fun toy is another man's can't-live-without-it necessity.

There are plent of people who live mere minutes from me who could not imagine ever paying $33,000 for a car.

Life's funny sometimes.

Default Fills the niche

Different cars = different purposes.

Pilot's definitely the travel/vacation car. The RES has been invaluable. On last basketball tournament, had virtually the entire team of 10-year olds seated in the second and third row watching Goldmember (I know, somewhat racy for 10-year olds but they have all already memorized most of the dialog) while the parents tailgated outside.

A great "mental health" investment.

What is the RES, Alex?

I am very glad that we opted for the RES.
