Default Spilling the beans

O.K. it's not going to happen at random I assure you that.

This thread is the logical place for my 2000th post and this is where it's going to be.

But let's make this really interesting...

There is going to be something very special about my next message.

I will post it sometime between now and when I leave for work tomorrow at my whim.

If you have been paying attention it is possible for you to guess what will be special about it before I even post it.

So let the guessing begin.

Extra credit if you guess before I post it.

If no one guesses before I post it then you will have the message as a clue.

Does it have something to do with the Da Vinci Code or the Illuminati?

Well, here it is, my 2000th post. There is something special about this post and your task if you choose to accept it is to guess what it is. Just for the record the answer I'm looking for is NOT "This is your 2000th post"!

This is sort of like the good old days in school There are several correct answers but only one most correct answer. The big prize will go to the person who guesses the most correct answer. Actually, there is no big prize. However, I predict that the person who gets this right will earn the eternal respect of their fellow forummates (is that a word).

After work tonight I decided to take a drive down by the beach. In the process I drove my Pilot in sand for the first time and I pretty much took it for granted unlike when I drove my Accord on sand. Even a few ruts I drove through didn't make me nervous.

As I was headed back home I glanced across the intercoastal waterway. The sun was just about to set. I pulled off onto a side street so I could get out and admire it. When it was out of my site I got back in my Pilot and because the road I turned onto was very narrow I just kept driving straight instead of turning around and before long I was lost in a bunch of little side streets.

I had my StreetPilot on but since I had no particular destination I didn't have any route programmed in. I just told it to take me home and it did. I love my Pilot, I love my StreetPilot, and I love this Forum!

Thanks to all of you who make it such a great place to spend time. The value of this place is beyond measure and I don't mean just as a car forum. The friends I've made here have made my life richer. Thanks to the moderators for their extra work. And of course special thanks to Admin for making this all possible!.

OK,

Where did you take that pic? The causeway?

Note where I'm from and you'll know why I ask!

The fishing area across the street from Sand Key Park.

Does that help?

Thanks to all for the congrats. I might not have even noticed if it hadn't been for this thread. If someone guesses or if they don't and I have to tell what's special about that message it's going to be a real surprise.

BTW anyone know what's up with Kemosabe. It's been 5 days since he posted. He might have mentioned something in another thread but I don't have time to follow them all any more.

Hmmm, I haven't been paying a lot of attention but just noticed that you changed your sig file sometime since I last looked it over in any detail.

Haven't seen or heard anything from Kemo in SEVERAL days!!

Where is that masked man??

BTW, sorry we didn't get a chance to hook up for lunch last week when I was in Largo. Next time we will try harder!

Well, you noticed something but my sig was last changed about a month ago.

No problem with not meeting up. There is always next time. Ironically the other friend I was planning to meet up with that day called just about the time I would have been leaving to meet you if it hadn't been for the last minute change of plans.
