I've hard the starting problem twice in 20 months, both times with tremps in the 40s, but while using the "winter gas" that's sold here from November to February.

I've had the other starting problem three times. It stars up so quietly that you think it didn't start, and grind the starter trying again to start it. I did that again yesterday.

Would I buy a Pilot again, absolutely.

About the same number as gas mileage polls.

What starter problems? I have had my Pilot since June 2002 and I have not had a problem starting it. Now have almost 30,000 miles.

That great to hear!
I hope that it is not a widespread problem.

Default ABSOLUTELY

I'd buy her again. I've had my Pilot just over a year now, and it's failed to start on the 1st try about 4 times total. And I think it has only happened when I turn her too soon.

I'd say NO if it was a problem that left me stranded with a dead Pilot, but it always starts on the 2nd try. Plus, Honda's excellent customer service leads me to believe that if it's something serious, Honda WILL take care of their people with a recall.

yep, I love my Pilot - but I do think I start the vehicle too soon. I wish I would wait until the buzzer stopped but I forget each time...

Default YES

Yes.

I had starting problem twice for 4 month but all of them related to less than quarter a tank of gas.
