19.2 mi/gal (US) mixed highway and city. Much better that I thought.

Average @ 5600 miles - 16.5
Mostly local roads, with some interstate, usually at rush hour
Lowest ever - 13.2, Highest ever - 19.5

We generally get better mileage when my wife drives - same holds true with our other vehicles

Error code - PEBSAA

I picked 18-19, but I only have about 2,300 miles so far. I have ranged between 18.2-19.9.

Default Not too bad

My wife drives the pilot most of the time, so many of its days are spent going between home, daycare, and my wifes work. About 5 miles between each. We have only owned it for a month and a half (2,000 miles) during the frigid winter. But even though it sits idling (warming it up and while taking kids into daycare) quite a bit, I have been averaging around 15-16 mpg (lowest was 14.3). Over the weekend we mixed in a few hundred highway miles and actually got 19.2 mpg, the best so far. Since the temperature is consitently well below zero, I am extremely pleased. My parents just bought a new F150 at about the same time with MPG estimates of 14/18 and they have yet to get over 12 mpg, so you will not see me complaining. I am sooo glad I didn't go with that Expedition that was so tempting.

Default Gas Mileage

Averaging 16 city 22 hwy. Best to date on long hwy trip did 25. Overall very pleased considering the thirsty truck based SUV alternatives. Of course gas prices have gone up every day since I brought my Pilot home....go figure

I have 8,800 miles on my Pilot purchased in December, 2003. Just got back from a 7,700 mile trip in which I averaged 22.25 MPG. At least 90% of mileage is highway. Pilot has performed flawlessly.

Default 7700 mile trip???

Holy Cow! Where did you drive to/from? That's more miles than you would get going across country and back....??? And it must have taken 2 or 3 weeks of solid driving.

Wonder what your leather looks like after that much intense driving in such a short time...?

Depending on the route you can get that many miles, my cross country trip in the Integra was about 8500 miles and took 5 weeks. Of course I did not got straight to CA and back, I went out through the south and came back through the north, kind of an around the country trip!

Not so much. I did a 6,700 trip on my motorcycle last Fall in under two weeks. Down to Texas, up and over to PA, down to Florida, and back home to Colorado. No biggie......

YMMV
