Default Michelin Cross Terrain noise level

I switched from Goodyear's to Michelin CT's in August, and was surprised to find that the CT's resonate noise at a lower frequency than the GY's, and I perceive them to be quieter than the GY's. All you CT owners, what do you think about the noise level vs. the original tires.

I voted for same as OEM GY's but that was when I had the 235 CT's(had them on for a week) , but when I switched to 255's there was an increase in road noise but only marginal.

I also upgraded my wheels to 17's, these same wheels will accomdate the 255's. I switched to the wider tires mainly for handling & the more proportionate look compared to the skinny 235's.

I got my CT's a few weeks ago and noticed the same thing - but I was more impressed with the improvement in handling.

Compared to my old Accord (with Michlin MXV4's) my Pilot used to wander more and not have that precise Honda handling that even my old Civic had. I thought it was because of the size and weight of the Pilot.

With the CT's, my Pilot now handles much better. In fact it handles like a Honda should! I can't wait for tomorrow when we're supposed to get snow from a storm coming up the coast!!!
