Default How many people have asked you about your Pilot?

I'm interested to see how many people( strangers, not family members) have came up to you and asked you about your Pilot. There has been only one person who has asked me about it. I'm not trying to be big headed but personally I thought the truck would draw a little more attention. Maybe I'm just in the wrong spot. Thats why i'm posting this poll.

Default Not a single person...

...has asked me about our Pilot as yet.

I think the Pilot's main attributes are hidden from casual viewing. From the exterior, the Pilot just seems to blend into the background.

Actually, that's fine with me. I'd rather have function over form. If I wanted to draw a crowd, I could opt to drive an AZTEK (...full body shudder)!

Coming up on two months, and not counting friends, family, and co-workers only two strangers have inquired about it. One guy who runs a local Ma & Pa grocery store came out to look it over and was asking all kinds of questions. This was the first day I had it and I was thinking it was pretty cool. Since then, only one inquiry at a gas station and he was mostly interested in what it was, if it was a replacement for the CR-V or Passport, and if Honda was actually building this one (as opposed to the Passport). He was driving an older 4 Runner and said he might check them out.

No asks by strangers but had 1 person in their Passport drive by the Pilot 4 times and stare long and hard while I was waiting in the parking lot of K-Mark for the wife.

Actually if someone didn't know the Pilots were out and with at a quick glance from the side and back, it looks like a Toyota Highlander.

(Don't beat me up because I do know the difference!!!!)

I've caught several people's first glance looking at the headlights which are unique, then they look towards the center grill as if..."what is that?"

Default Glances but no questions

I think it blends in with other SUV's, which I like.

The Pilot certainly blends in, which is nice. But I've had two people come up to me in the first week I've owned it, one asking to see how the third row works, the other complaining about the small size of his cr-v. Hey, I own a cr-v too!

Took the family to a WaterPark on South Padre Island yesterday. My wife left in the middle of the day to run some errands while I stayed with the kids in the Park. She says as she was leaving, two beautiful girls in bikinis stopped her to ask about the Pilot...wouldn't you know it'd be the time she was driving it!!!

No looks, no stares, no thumbs up, no nothin'!

I think the lack of advertising by Honda has the general public very unaware that the Pilot even roams the Earth. I guess they don't need to since demand greatly outstrips supply.

Most of my questions have been from Honda owners as they are the ones who seem to be aware the Pilot exists. I do wish Honda would put just a little more advertising out there just to draw demand. (I love having the hot commodity!)

Of course one other thing about the inquiries I have gotten, most of the time (when I have been asked) I am coming back to my vehicle and find someone looking inside. I can't help but tell them how great it is and ask them if they want to check it out first hand. Before you know it I'm flipping seats and letting them check out the view from the drivers seat.

I just have my car for 4 days.

All my friends loved it. But, I haven't ask by anyone yet. I will share my vote in the next 26 days. My first month anniversary with my new 03 Pilot.

Not many people have personally asked about it, but it sure has gotten a lot of looks. I just luuuuuuuuuuuvvvvv passing those crappy Explorers and watching the driver weep.

I work for a major corporation and one morning recently I pulled into the front parking lot where all the suppliers hang out before their meetings. I pulled up beside 2 guys unloading a GMC Jimmy and by the time I got out they were approaching me......I was like WTF! Were they going to gang up on me and steal it? But they said "Oh we're just admiring your vehicle". I didn't have time to show it to them, but I'm sure they went back and told all their friends about it.

This past Saturday I had two people to talk to me at the grocery store. They had test driven a Pilot, but the dealer didn't have the color they wanted. I told them all the good stuff, and I think they will be getting one when they can find the right color...sandstone (great, I was the only Pilot in my area, now there will not only be 2 Pilots, but we'll both be sandstone). I meant to tell them not to pay over sticker, but forgot until they were out of range.
