Default How Often Do You Use Cruise Control?

When I got my first car with cruise control back in '86, I was really excited to have this feature. Of course, many cars--our Pilots included--now come with cruise control standard.

But, I can't remember when I last used cruise control! It certainly hasn't been since my last long trip, and even then I finally left it disengaged after overriding it so often.

So, I'm wondering how many of you Pilot owners use this feature, and how often.

Default Love it!

I love the cruise control and use it when I am on the open road (Most of the driving around us is open road)...not as much when I am running around town.

I have a feeling it keeps me from getting tickets.

I use it when ever I can, but unfortunately in commuter traffic, that is only "occassionaly" - like once or twice a week.
...but on the open highway - always

I don't use it around town but any long trip on an Express way I always put it on if the traffic isn't too heavy if for no other reason than to keep from losing track of my speed.... but it also allows for more shifting of positions.

Your on a roll tonight buddy! 3-5 hours in the car without so much as a poddy break requires stretching of legs and changing of sitting positions to remain comfortable.

I use it on highway long distance travel. But in speed zone of 25 MPH, the cruise control comes in handy as the Pilot lets you engage CC at that speed. My experience with my previous two domestic cars was that it would not engage at speeds lower than 35 MPH

HiFlyer, I learned something. Didn't realize that the Pilot's CC would function at less than 35 MPH........

Have used CC in cruising situations and in the 25mph speed trap situations. A wonderful feature that I have missed on my old Jeep YJ and Volvo 240.

As Yoda advised his young Jedi apprentice,
"Use the Force, er Cruise Control, Luke, use it."

I used the cruise control once just to make sure it worked, but otherwise, I get sleepy if I am not fully engaged in driving, so I never use cruise.
