That is if you only count PILOT related postes! (That is the way I count them)

I was thinking of posting Poll asking what people think about the mass postings of "Way Off Topic" stuff.

Jokes and stuff are fine, but I was on Dial-Up over the weekend, and the pics were realy slowing things down.

I wonder if you the forum Admin could limit the pics to only off topic areas. Or maybe whoever starts a thread. So if someone is asking for maintenance help and needs a pic they can get it.

That would be wonderful, N_Jay. I am all for keeping threads on-topic without all the other stuff you have to wade through, When I need to come here to research a problem or a question I have, it can be really frustrating to sift through page after page, finding that the orginal topic of the thread is killed because it goes way off topic and on a wild tangent.

I really do appreciate Kemosabe's brand of humor and want to see it continue. He has given me a lot of laughs during this horrible time . Does www.honda-pilot.org have a place to post humor and off-topic posts?

As the old saying goes, it's not the size of your post counts, it's what you do with them.

Each brings an element to the group that we are all better off by having them involved.

Or as Groucho said when he had a housewife on who said she had seven children [read: 1300 posts on Honda-Pilot.org]. Groucho said, "Seven [1300]? That many?" She blushed, and said, "Well, I love my husband [Pilot]." Groucho came back with, "I love my cigar, too, but I take it out once in a while."

I don't know how how either of you find the time.

YES! This board does indeed have a place to post off-topic material. As a new member, HondaFan, you may not realize that, under the main category Forums, there are a number of Off-Topic forums, including:

General Off Topic
Games and Humor
Other Automobiles
Current Events
Etc.

You'll find all kinds of funny stuff there, especially under Games and Humor!

I think performance of the board is fine. Then again I'm connecting via cable modem at home and T1 at work, so pics don't bother me too much.

Yes, there are loots of places for "Off-Topic" conversations.

It is just the barage of multiple postings of "art" that throws the count way off.

Not that I care about the count.

Default Sorry!!!

Well, let me be the first to apologize to those I've offended with my warped sense of humor. I did not mean to cause any hardships (dial-up downloads) or what-have-you. I'm pretty sure there are many more out there who feel the same way (about threaddrift), so I will officially sign off with this last post... again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience!!! Take care, everyone and happy Piloting!!!

Hey HondaFan, didn't you just get $2650 off MSRP? You should be able to "afford" a faster connection and a little more research time now right?

Okay, okay...I'm just jealous of your good deal...but, that's a different topic.

ramirami, I'm kinda bummed because the other day you posted below me and had (at that time) the exact same post count. I guess you won this race...for now.

(one more post for me, he he)

Please don't leave, Kemo....you are a delightful addition to Honda-Pilot.org and would be missed. I actually love your warped sense of humor and ability to take someone's words and turn them into a picture. I also hope you just meant it was your last post just for tonight and not forever.

Well, the Admin just put up a post for those on dialups about being able to suppress the inline pics, so that should ease the load for them.
