I've owned 5 cars in the pass with cloth interior, no complains about it, it's better in hot weather that you don't burn your a$s!!! LOL, I would and most people would prefer leather over cloth because it looks more luxury, easier to wipe off if accidently spill something, but you'll need leather treatment 2-3x a year to keep it stay new, and doesn't crack a few year later like most people doesn't leather needs treatment to keep them stay longer.

My wife and I had the same argument with the couch and again with the Pilot. I won both times. Leather for the win! We have kids, kids spill things, leather is easy clean up plus it just feels and looks better in my opinion. I don't like any of the light colored interiors so it's always black leather in a car.

Leather, hands down.
We have kids, 'nuff said.

Ok, here's a quick sample:
If you spill something, wipe it off, you're done. Go back to your seat, and as if nothing happened.
If it's a cloth, ummm, well ... good luck. No further explanation.

leather. it is easy to clean. You can use warm water and cloth to clean it.. No need to invest other leather cleaners.

Fwiw most of the "leather" except for the seat face itself is vinyl.
Just noticed that the vinyl part of the drivers seat has split after 134k miles
Damn. That wouldn't happen with cloth.

My wife and I had the same debate. Honda solved it for us on the 2012 Pilot: We both wanted the DVD RES, which is only available on the EX-L and Touring models, which only come with leather. Problem solved. One instance where option bundling actually worked in my favor. ;-)

The only reason I went with leather was for the heated seats. If I could have had that option in cloth, I would have gone that route.

I personally like leather seats.. They are appealing to the eye, and plus it gives off "class" in my opinion lol and I find them more comfortable. My pilot has cloth because it is the base EX..

One thing rarely mentioned about cloth is static electricity. If you live somewhere that gets dry in the winter, you'll wish you had leather very quickly.

Leather seats are definitely the way to go! Cloth can stain and get dirty and most leather seats in hondas will avoid that problem!
