Question How much you are willing to pay over MSRP?

Just want to see much people are willing to pay for their Pilot.

Sorry man, but this is silly. No one want to pay over MSRP and if they do they would have to be really desperate, incompetant, and it's not like there will never be any Pilots ever again if they don't buy the one thats marked up. I really like the Pilot, but this feeding frenzy for them is ridiculous and so are the people who pay over MSRP for whatever reason.

Not that much. MSRP in one form or another and that's about it for me. Darn near killed me to pay that. Last 2 Subarus have been at tissue (they still have about 700-800 holdback so the dealer is not starving).

Same feeling here. I like to work deals, so when I have to pay MSRP,that's bad enough!

Hey DJS, the last SUV like vehicle I had was a '96 Subaru Outback.
I racked up 70,000 in three years, so I sold it. My boat has been sitting in the driveway since, as I figured out which SUV I wanted. So this has been a 2 year project for me. Going from and not in any order, the MDX, the Highlander, the Tribute, the Forester. To the best of them all the PILOT!! Whew I came two days away from being locked into a contract on a Highlander in February when I read about the Pilot. Pulled the plug and signed for the PILOT. I would have been soooo disappointed had I been locked into the Highlander, knowing that I really would have wanted the PILOT.

Default MSRP

My thoughts, too. MSRP or no sale.

We have four dealers in the area. The "big" one charges $2M over MSRP and the rest were right at MSRP with no add-ons. Still can't figure that one out.

You need one more column in your poll: MSRP.

I am with djs and jfrano. I'm a wheeler and a dealer. If I hadn't loved this damn thing so much, I would never had paid MSRP. I almost talked myself out of it, convincing myself that I would be able to do better when the hype died down, but the cool factor won out in this one.

I would never have paid MSRP+ knowingly. I just refuse. If they told me they were going to make me pay over MSRP, I would laugh all the way back to my car and drive off.

Very impressived to see some honda fans paying price higher than MSRP.

For me, MSRP/lowered price or no deal at all.

It's just a honda.... not a BMW, Mercedes, any luxury car....

I've NEVER paid MSRP for a vehicle, until the Pilot. The wife wanted it pretty badly. Walked away from the dealers that added an "Adjusted Market Value" above MSRP or added MANDATORY accessories. But I'm very happy with the Pilot, so the sting of paying MSRP isn't too bad!!

Thank god it's not. Once they figure out how to do Honda reliability, maybe they'll have buyings willing to pay MSRP or more. Until then, you can continue to get them below MSRP and pretend you got good value.

No way am I paying over MSRP! These damn dealers have no heart. There already getting 3% holdback and who knows what other bene's.

A dealer should sell any vehicle for at most $1000 over INVOICE. Any more than that and they are bigtime A-holes.

I will only pay MSRP.

I have to wait longer and do a little more research than usual but I got mine at MSRP without addons.

With the competition slashing prices (rebates and 0% financing) on midsize SUV, I think Honda will start selling MSRP or lower.

We paid MSRP and the dealer threw in the mud guards and wheel locks for free. After researching several dealers, it appears that they are all over the place with their pricing. They really try to stick to you for the dealer installed options.

I have since added an Alpine CHM-S630 6-disk CD changer that is compatible with the Honda radio system. I'm also considering the addition of a after-market trailer hitch package system to our EX-L.

I offered $500 under MSRP for a Sandstone EX-L. After a few trips to the back room the salesperson said they have already lowered their price by $3,000 to make the deal, why can't I budge on the $500. This particular Pilot has 2 small dents in the hood that were going to be fixed. I would have paid MSRP without dents. Still looking.
