Time to update my earlier post!

'81? Civic - it was DH's car, actually; I never drove it (can't drive a stick ), and was eventually replaced by a '94 Saturn (probably our last GM car), which was totalled in 1999 and replaced with...

'99 Accord EX which was my car until I handed it down to DH and bought...

'01 CR-V LX which was stolen and totalled almost exactly one year later and replaced with...

'02 CR-V EX which later shared the garage with...

'01 Accord EX when DH traded the '99 Accord on a Tundra, then decided he wasn't a truck guy after all and went back to an Accord...

and I finally traded the '02 CR-V on my...
'06 Pilot EX-L NAVI - woo hoo!

How can you not be a truck guy in Oklahoma?

Good question! Yeah, I suspect he'll end up with a truck again at some point. But he likes the low-and-nimble feeling of the Accord. If our next house has off-street parking for 3 vehicles, we'll probably get an old knockaround pickup for driving to Lowes and the like.

Well, it depends upon how you count.

There's the 00 Civic I bought my daughter in College in 02 and then there is

My 05 Steel Blue Pilot . So I guess one since my daughter loves hers so much and won't give it up.

BTW I think Tracy deserves an award for patiently enduring so long. Yea Tracy.

1999 Honda Accord EX - ripped the weather stripping off the windshield at 120MPH on the Autobahn - Honda paid to have it reinstalled under warranty. Great car. Traded in on a new BMW.

I just got the new Consumer Reports for this month

Honda pretty much OWNS this edition. All of the 2006's are at the top of the lists for just about every catagory. Toyota always fairs well, but its clear that Honda is focused on delivering a vehicle in each class that makes the top 3 if not the top spot.

I sure find them to be safe, reliable and fun to drive

The Honda's I owned
1981 Honda Accord
1984 Honda Civic Hatchback
1997 Honda CRV
1989 Honda Accord LX
1990 Honda Accord LX
And the best of all is my 1999 CRV
All of these Honda's were the best cars the only thing I wasn't impressed with was my 81' Honda Accord.I did hate that car BUT it wasn't taken care of and that ALWAYS makes a difference
I LOVE a Honda

1984 Accord LX (white)
1994 Passport LX-W (Red)
2003 Pilot EX-L (Silver)
2006 Pilot EX-L (Black)

All great vehicles -- even the Passport which is actually an Isuzu. It looked hot in red with black fender flares and nerf bars.

All, except the 2006, made it through numerous blizzards/winter storms in Michigan and NYC. Never had a problem with any of them.

Default 3 hondas

1st - 1994 civic dx @ 283,000 miles & still going, the last safety inspection, tech said even if the emission on this car is doubled, it would still pass with flying colors!!!

2nd - 2004 pilot - drives like a dream - i hate to say it but american cars have a LOT of catching up to do

3rd - 2006 civic lx - i'm glad i picked this car over the 3i touring!

In order of purchase:

1. 1987 Acura integra (this is what started me on Hondas) my father bought it for me in high school - I sold to a friend and still see it occasionally has 302K miles on it on the 2nd engine though.

2. 1988 Honda CRX Si, bought this for my then girlfriend, now my wife - great car until a 18 wheeler almost killed her on the highway! Needless to say the car was totalled, but she came out almost uninjured

3. 1988 Honda Civic DX sedan, got it to replace the smashed up CRX good timing because we were just about to have our 1st child then. Eventually sold. (should not have)

4. 1976 Honda Civic CVCC hatch, got this for $50, back in my "import drag racer days." I ended up swapping in a ZC/D16A1 & 5spd in there. Most fun Honda I've ever owned, until I wrecked it.

5. 1976 Honda Civic 1200, rare in California, still have it was thinking of restoring but cousin may want it.

6. 1991 Honda CRX Si, almost mint bought from original owner - saving it for my son. Parked in back garage.

7. 1978 Honda Civic Station Wagon, replacement daily driver for my '76 CVCC - swapped that engine into the wagon as well. Still drive this everyday!

8. 1990 Acura Integra LS sedan, 2nd family car. Recently sold to brother in law needing transportation (right after we bought the Pilot)

9. 1977 Honda Civic Station Wagon, bought with blown head gasket with plans to restore...will be a long term project, wife says she'll drive it if it has A/C when I'm done

10. 2003 Honda Pilot, newest car we've ever bought by far, and it's used. Love everything about it so far! And this forum has been very helpful - I haven't read this much since I was in school.(granted I didn't read that much then either )

Thanks for reading! Maybe I'll start a thread with pictures..lol.
